Ask any paddler and they will tell you, being able to surfski goes beyond being able to sit in a boat. Understanding the ocean and how to read sets drastically improves your ability to race competitively.
Downwind Blitz is run on a handicap system and the paddler to improve on his time by the most for a single km of downwind bliss over the duration of the challenge, will win the overall handicap prize, a Downwind Travel Paddle Bag.
Paddlers will be split into Batches depending on their handicap, there will be batch A through E and the top 2 paddlers of each batch will receive a colour coded Wilddog Performance Cap.
